Paloma started working with marginalized communities and sexual diversities since 2010, while studying for a BA in Psychology. This helped her gain experience in the professional handling of situations that affect women, LGBT and black/brown immigrants communities in Puerto Rico. This transformed into a box of options and tools for her, in order to work with communities in a perinatal stage from a human rights perspective. Paloma also integrates popular education methodology to promote and support the empowerment and consciousness that her clients need to make healthy and free decisions.
In 2018 she finished a BA in Psychology with additional credits in Social Work. During the current year she will resume studies in Midwifery.
