I believe all women should have access to the emotional, physical and informational support of a doula. I do not turn away anyone who is unable to pay. We can make arrangements. The time before your give birth can be one of the most sacred and challenging times of your life. Through deep discussion, understanding what best supports a physiologic birth, all routine practices and their alternatives and comfort measures we will work to prepare for the labor, birth and meeting your new baby. My goal is to hold space at the times you feel you need support and security. It is my role to support not only during th active stages of labor, but if needed, in the early stages as well. My philosophy around labor and birth is to set the stage to have a positive birth experience. We cannot control the events that unfold in birth, however we can arm ourselves with tools that drive a positive experience.
