I have dedicated my life to the service of caring for women and their families; I am passionate about what I do. I served 6 years in the US Military and have over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse. I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2000. My approach to pregnancy and childbirth is a preventive, natural and holistic style and this style encompass my entire approach to health. I view pregnancy not as a medical condition, but rather a natural and sacred rite of passage into motherhood. Physical health, values, beliefs, relationships, emotional wellbeing and spirituality all affect pregnancy and childbirth. I am concerned about all these aspects of each individual. My job is to assist and help parents to discover their own path and experience the joy of parenthood. Outside of Midwifery, I love reading, traveling, helping others and spending time with my family. I am a mother, grandmother, veteran and a midwife.
